Webinar

These are web-based seminars that take place in real-time with an instructor/trainer. As you and the trainer are on-line at the same time, this type of event is also know as synchronous learning. You gain remote access to the seminar by using the telephone and the internet using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox (other browsers are not compatible). A Microsoft Office download is also required to access the webinar. Instructions on how to download this will be emailed with the login instructions one week from the event. The presentation is combined with a phone-bridge (traditional teleconference) allowing participants to listen/view the presentation and then ask questions during Q&A. Access to a webinar requires one computer, one phone and one internet connection with dial in information provided by ARCS following registration. Webinars typically have 50 people participating on-line.
