Membership:

  • New members are welcome as Full, Associate, Overseas Associate, Student or Retired Members. Refer to the Join ARCS section of the website for details of Member Benefits and classification of members.
  • Student Members must be able to show evidence of Full Time enrollment at an Australian Tertiary Institution.
  • New members must pay by credit card at the time of joining

Advertising:

  • ARCS Australia reserves the right to reject any advertising applications
  • Advertising copy must be emailed to the ARCS Business Office for approval before being printed
  • On Direct Mailouts, the words “ADVERTISED THROUGH ARCS AUSTRALIA (For more information refer to www.arcs.com.au)” must appear on the top of the page (or front page) in 20 font size for all mail out advertisements.
  • Employment opportunities can only be advertised in the Newsletter as an Insert
  • Newsletter Inserts are limited to one A4 page double sided page per advertiser and only two flyers per issue

Payments:

  • All purchases can be made by Visa, Diners, Amex or Master Card.  
  • When joining ARCS, payment must be made at the time of joining, by credit card.
  • Renewals and purchases must be made by credit card unless previous arrangements have been made with ARCS (in writing) for payment on invoice.
  • All events must be booked and paid for prior to attending.
  • All event information will include clear details regarding cancellations, refunds and transfers
  • Cancellations and transfers must be in writing and will incur a 10% administration fee
  • No refunds or transfers will be allowed after the prescribed date. 
  • Substitutions (of attendee) are allowed up until the event, at no cost.

Events

  • ARCS Australia is committed to ensuring advertised educational events go ahead. Despite all our efforts, occasionally, some events will need to be postponed or cancelled due to lack of attendee numbers. This decision is made in conjunction with the event Chairperson and Facilitator. Your early registration for events will assist us to assess the interest for this event in your state. We recommend for interstate travel that flexible travel arrangements are made until the event has been confirmed by ARCS Australia in writing as ARCS Australia will not be held responsible for forfeited costs. With your support we are committed to delivering these events, so please submit your registration early.
  • Refunds, Transfers and Cancellations - Seminars, evening updates, webinars

    • No refunds for seminars, evening updates or webinar will be processed within two weeks of the event. Cancellations must be in writing and will incur at least a 10% administration fee. Substitutions are allowed at no cost. There are no transfers for those attending seminars or evening updates.
  • Refunds, Transfers and Cancellations - Workshops

    • No refunds, transfers or cancellations for workshops will be processed within two weeks of workshops. Cancellations and transfers must be in writing and will incur at least a 10% administration fee. Substitutions are allowed at no cost.
  • Permission to Distribute Material

    • The copyright owner of Materials used at ARCS events is clearly marked on the Material and is protected by International Copyright Laws. These Materials may not be used or copied without the express permission of the owner of the Copyright. For events where ARCS Australia does not hold the Copyright to the Material, ARCS will attempt to secure permission to distribute the Material. ARCS Australia cannot guarantee to those attending an ARCS event a copy of the Material being used at the events.
