Revised Floorplan - Greater Exposure for All!
The 2009 ASC exhibition floorplan has been reconfigured (from previous years) to ensure maximum exposure for exhibitors. The coffee cart and lounge area will be towards the back of the hall with the Internet Cafe nearer the front. Catering stations will also be placed in key areas of the hall to create greater flow of delegates throughout the entire hall.

Consultants Table Display
To assist sole traders and small businesses (1-5 employees), with limited budget, reach Congress delegates we have introduced exhibition space at a reduced rate. Rather than an exhibition booth, you will have a trestle table with a vertical display panel at the back. The area will have high visibility and prime location - immediately left as delegates walk in the exhibition area.

Exhibitor Passport Competition
To increase flow even further throughout the exhibition hall, and increase interaction between delegates and exhibitors, we will once again use the Exhibitor Passport Competition. Delegates will be encouraged to visit exhibitor stalls to receive signatures from each exhibiting stall then when they have received at least 20 they can go in the draw to win one of three bottles of champagne.

Barcode Badges & Scanner
As ASC Exhibitors must adhere to all current Privacy Regulations (and only use Business Cards for the purpose they were collected ie to win a prize), the 2009 ASC will again see the use of barcode badges and scanners. Exhibitors can swipe the badges of agreeable delegates who come to their stand and the data (name, company, position, phone, fax and email) can then be accessed via a password protected URL site during and three months after the Congress.

Full Congress Registration at Half the Price
If your Exhibitor staff are interested in attending the scientific sessions, Gala Dinner and Closing Cocktails it may be worth looking at purchasing an exhibition packages where you can include Full Congress registrations as part of your exhibition booth price.

Previous Delegates
Over the last few years the ASC has been experiencing ever increasing numbers with annual growth exceeding 10% in delegates and sponsors. For the 2008 Congress we had 60 sponsors and exhibition companies and 1,130 registered delegates from the therapeutic goods industry and from research institutions, academia and government including a large proportion of managers and key decision makers across the spectrum of drug and device development disciplines depicted below. Of the 1,130 delegates who attended:

• 20% were Directors and Senior Management
• 20% were Team Leaders
• 45% were Associates
• 55% worked in Clinical Research
• 23% worked in Regulatory Affairs
• 12% worked in Medical Affairs
• 64% lived in Sydney
• 27% lived in Melbourne
