ARCS Training Role with Undergraduates
ARCS and the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) have entered into a partnership to offer a new introductory course in clinical trial management for biomedical science students. The new course will be the fi rst undergraduate training in clinical research offered by ARCS at an Australia university. The goal of this exciting initiative is to provide the USC biomedical science students with an opportunity to develop some of the skills necessary to conduct clinical research to appropriate standards during their undergraduate studies. Opportunities exist for industry for industry to establish scholarships and cadetships for the USC biomedical science students who study the new course and to take advantage of the availability of graduates with core knowledge of the skills required in clinical research positions.
