Full

Persons who may be scientifically qualified or not, who reside in Australia and are primarily employed in providing scientific or medical services or expertise (e.g. in clinical research, regulatory affairs, health outcomes, and other technical specialist areas) that contribute to the development and/or quality use of therapeutic goods in Australia.

Associate

Persons who do not meet the criteria for Full Membership but who reside in Australia and have an interest in the Australian therapeutic products industry.

Overseas Associate

Persons who reside outside Australia and therefore do not meet the criteria for Full or Associate Membership but who have an interest in the therapeutic products industry.

Student

Persons who are, at the time of application, enrolled as full time students at a university or institution of higher education as defined under the Higher Education Funding Act 1988 (Cth).

Retired

Persons who has been a Full Member of the Company for a period greater than 3 consecutive years immediately prior to their retirement and who are no longer actively involved in providing scientific services in or for the Australian therapeutic goods industry due to their retirement from the workforce.

Life

Person who has met one or more of the following criteria:

• Been a Full Member and served for 5 consecutive years on the Board
• Has served for 2 consecutive years on the Board and 3 consecutive years as convenor (or member) of the education sub-committee of the Company or such other sub-committee of the Company as the Board prescribes from time to time
• Has served for 3 consecutive years as President

If you would like to nominate a member who does not meet the specific criteria specified in the Form, please forward your proposal including a clear statement of their outstanding contributions to ARCS to the President of the Board, c/- the ARCS Business Office at arcs@arcs.com.au.
