More than 5 years experience in clinical research management? You may be eligible to be certified as an ACPM in clinical research management

ARCS Certified Professional Members (ACPM) in clinical research management are ACMs with 5 years minimum of relevant experience and training and who have committed to their Continuing Professional Development and the ARCS Code of Conduct.

ACPMs will be required to complete the on-line assessments for all the courses included in the ACM program (if not previous completed as an ACM). As the requirements for ACPM builds on those of ACMs, it is recommended that those applying to be an ACPM be aware of the requirements of an ACM.

Applications to be an ACPM will be approved by the ARCS Professional Development Manager and endorsed by the ARCS Board. Send an e-mail to training@arcs.com.au if you would like to receive additional information about this process.

Process

  1. Review all the requirements for being an ARCS Certified Professional Member (ACPM) in Clinical Research Management located in the information pack
  2. Complete the application form and attach supporting documentation (e.g. CV, training records, training agendas etc) 
  3. Send in your application form with supporting documents to training@arcs.com.au 
  4. Make your payment on-line
    1. Please login to the ARCS website, select Training ----> Register ----> Type = Certification ----> ARCS Certified Member (ACM) Application ----> Add to My Choices ----> Register Now
  5. Once the application has been sent in, leave up to 2 weeks for processing
  6. ARCS will contact you to arrange a time convenient to you to complete the assessment.
  7. Once access is granted, you will have one week to complete the assessment. The assessment has a pass mark of 80%.

Applications to be an ACPM will be approved by the ARCS Professional Development Manager and endorsed by the ARCS Board.

Fees (inclusive of GST)

  1. Completion via ARCS Courses (ACPM applicants) – Included in course cost
  2. Completion via Specialist Certificate (ACPM Applicants) - Included as part of enrolment
  3. Cost of certification if you have not attended the relevant ARCS courses and are required to undertake knowledge assessments - $375.00
  4. Certification via ACRP or ICR within the last 2 years (ACM or ACPM applicants) - $195.00
